Not Marriage Material is an anthology of non-fiction pieces and poetry due to be published in February 2025.

The deadline is November 30th 2024.

Each piece should be a maximum of 5000 words and be on the theme of ex-boyfriends, girlfriends, crushes etc. “The one that got away”.

The tone should be on the light side – no abuse or rape, please. A small amount of spiciness is OK, but no full-blown erotica.

Be sure to include a short 300 word biography, author photo and link to your website. I cannot pay for submissions but hopefully this can work as a marketing tool to help your writing get some exposure.

Pieces will be proofread and published here, lower down on this page. I reserve the right not to publish anything that I feel is inappropriate for my subscribers. At the end of the year the best pieces will be chosen and published in an anthology aiming for Valentine’s Day 2025 publication.
